Our First Frisch Event! Helping out @ "Green Home Green"
Avocado Plants At Frisch
pit
Avocado Pits are collected by Ms. Mantell and the students.
Each pit is suspended in water held up by toothpicks.
With proper sunlight and water changes EVERY DAY, the pit will begin to grow ROOTS!
The ROOTS will continue to grow into the cup.
Soon, the pit will begin to break apart and sprout the beginnings of the AVOCADO PLANT!
It will be then placed in a large container with soil to continue growing.
Our plant has blossomed! Each pit will grow to be a plant of its own
.
Watch as a new pit growss roots and sprouts from the top of the cracking pit off to the side!
See a third pit begin to sprout from on top after the roots have grown long!
Our Avocado pits have been planted inRecycled Planters!!!!!!
Proud Club Members!!
Post Shiriyah Clean-Up Thank you to all the Frisch Students who helped take down any materials from Shiriyah that could be recycled! We collected tons of fabric to be donated to the Frisch Fashion Club and other reusable materials!
